Overview

The Club values our members privacy.  We only collect the data we feel is needed to run the Club and to benefit other club members.

Collection, use and disclosure of personal information

We collect from all members:

• Name*
• Organization
• Email Address*
• Phone Number*
• VIN/RN*
• Tesla Vehicle Models*
• Postal Address*
• Desire to be on our Slack channel*
• Social Media forums used
• Social Media user name
• Most commonly used Tesla Service Center*
• Birthday (feel free to use this year for the year, we don't need to know your age)
• Partner Name
• Alternate Phone Number

*Required fields, all others are optional.

Fields shared with the Non-Members: None unless you consent to your name being show as a registrant for an event

Fields shared with Member:

• Name
• Tesla Vehicle Models
• City, State portion of address

Fields only available to administrators to help run the club and are not shared:

• Organization
• Phone Number
• Postal Address (full)
• Slack Channel
• Social Media information
• Birthday (so we can send you a card on your birthday)
• Partner Name
• Alternate Phone Number

Field required by Tesla to validate club membership rights:

• VIN/RN (shared with Telsa for validation)

From non-member contacts (Non members who register for meetings open to the public) we collect:

• Name*
• Organization
• Email*
• Phone*

*Required fields, all others are optional.

We collect this information to allow us to know who is coming and to be able to contact you in case there is an issue with your registration or the event.

If you allow your name to be shown as a registration for an event, you name will be available to anyone viewing the event listing.

Giving consent for others

Bundle Administrators of Family Memberships (the owner of the membership bundle) are responsible for entering information for the family members in their bundle and grant consent for us to use that information as per above for members.

Third-parties applications

Your membership information will be shared with Tesla to enable the Tesla Engagement Platform and to validate your right to join the club.  No other third party will receive your information unless you directly share it with them.
