  WMMR 93.3 Preston and Steve's Camp out for hunger needs our help!

  We are thrilled to announce that we will be participating in the Phil-a-Trunk Car Show and Food Drive for the 6th year in a row! This amazing event, organized by the Riesentoter Region of the Porsche Club, brings together car enthusiasts from all over the Delaware Valley to support the Philabundance Food Bank. The event is also part of the Preston and Steve's Camp out for Hunger initiative. Phil-a-Trunk is a fun and easy way to donate food to those in need, as you just fill your frunk/trunk with non-perishable items and we will drive to the event. You can also enjoy the sight of hundreds of beautiful cars on display, and mingle with fellow car lovers. Don't miss this opportunity to make a difference in your community and have a great time!

  Every donation counts!

  • A one-pound donations helps provide one meal for someone in need.
  • Just $1 can help provide up to two meals.
  • With $20, Philabundance can buy a case of peanut butter, a delicious and crucial source of protein for kids.
  • $50 helps give a four-person household three meals a day for one week.

  
  

  Every year we attend, we get a shout out on the Preston and Steve morning radio show by the host of the event, "we didn't even hear the DVTO club drive in!" 

  A few details about the event:

  8:30 am - Meet at the Ikea parking lot near Chick-fil-a and take a few group pictures.

  8:45 am - Drive as a group to the Wells Fargo Center, enter off 11th Street, where we will line up to drop off our food donations with the volunteers of Philabundance.

  10:00am - Our scheduled drop off time with Phil-a-Trunk (this time may be slightly earlier or later depending on how large or small the car clubs are ahead of us). 

  *Tentative* Phil-a-Trunk drop off schedule:

  7:30am - Gates Open 

  9:30am - Porsche Club and Mustang Clubs

  9:45am - Mopar Muscle (everything Mopar)

  10:00am - Tesla Club

  11:00am - 12:00pm other car clubs

  12:00pm - Closeout

  This is a rain or shine event.

  After we drop off our donations feel free to join in the other activities including:

  -Car Show/Mainline Cars & Coffee

  -Food trucks (It's Koffee Time, Popcorn for the People)

  Please pack your frunks and/or trunks with the following (heavier the better, wink wink!) non-perishable food items:

  • Peanut Butter & Jelly
  • Cooking Oil
  • Canned Tuna or Meat
  • Canned Fruits & Vegetables
  • Canned Stews & Soups
  • Oatmeal/Breakfast Cereal
  • Whole Grain Pasta
  • 100% Juice
  • Rice
  • Boxed, Non-Refrigerated Milk
  • Macaroni & Cheese
  • Canned/Boxed Pasta
  • Canned Chili

  Please register on DVTO so we know how many cars to plan for. If you are unable to attend, but would still like to help us reach our goal, please register on DVTO under “donation only.” We will do a club monetary/food donation on the day of the event.
