Requested by many... announcing the debut of Advanced DIY workshop at the DVTOC Retreat Saturday Sept 17. The DIY workshop will last about 2-ish hours during the 12- 6 pm window. The start time will likely will be immediately after lunch, around 2 pm. Topics we will cover include:
12v battery change for 3/Y [You can practice the procedure by removing and replacing your existing 12v battery. However, if you plan to swap your battery you must buy Tesla OEM or equivalent and bring it with you. No Li-ion low voltage batteries (eg Ohmmu) will be installed.]
Jump start for dead low voltage battery
Window calibration
Manual charge port cable release
Review of different types of resets, including Gateway reset
Introduction to Service Mode [or how not to accidently brick your Tesla]
We will cover any other topic for any Tesla model if time permits
A list of tools you will need is provided in the registration confirmation email
Come for the day, have lunch and BBQ dinner with us or stay to camp overnight. Lots of fun activities planned, like outdoor movie and synchronized Tesla light show.

NOTE: To participate in this DIY event you must also register to attend at least the Saturday part of the DVTOC retreat.
