Meet Rafael on the 80eDays 2023 Promo Tour

JUST IN: Rafael De Mestre and his world-traveling Tesla Roadster are stopping in New Jersey while traveling around the USA on the 80edays 2023 Promo Tour and you have the unique opportunity to meet him on Monday July 10th.

Join us for a meet and greet and informal dinner with Rafael, the world ambassador of the electric vehicle movement, at Splitz Bar and Grill outdoor patio. Ice cream is also available from the adjacent Lickety Splitz Sweet & Sinful Handcrafted Ice Cream. 

In 2012 Rafael drove this Roadster 17,000 miles around the world and in so doing set several world records: the fastest trip around the world in an electric car at that time in 127 days, the longest route on a 100% electric car, and the longest trip alone behind the wheel of an electric car.

The next 80edays trip around the world will be in 2024. Come learn about his experiences and how he plans to do it again.

Unfortunately, the Roadster was bricked during an extended stay in a German museum. It was recently shipped across the Atlantic from Europe for battery replacement and PEM service on an emissions-free sail boat (another first!). He is now touring the USA and will stop in New Jersey where DVTOC is privileged to host him for a few days and provide his Roadster with some electrons.

The event is free, but please register ASAP so we can plan for how many are coming. The number of servers designated for us depends on how many people register. Food, beverages, and ice cream are a la carte.
